Coming up this week in golf, the senior men will play in The Senior Players Championship and the European Tour will hold The Scottish Open. The PGA Tour will be at the John Deere Classic, while the LPGA Tour is playing The Marathon Classic, and the Web.com Tour is holding the Utah Championship.

The Constellation Senior Players Championship will be played at the Exmoor Country Club in Exmoor, Illinois near Chicago. A classic Donald Ross design, Exmoor was constructed in 1915 and renovated in 2003 by Ron Prichard, in an effort to reincorpoate the strategic features of Ross. Exmoor will play to a par of 72 and a distance of 7,097 yards.

Scott McCarron captured the championship last year at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Maryland. McCarron won by one stroke over Brandt Jobe and Bernhard Langer, ending Langer’s run of three consecutive titles. The European Senior Tour does not recognize this tournament as a major, and it is not part of that tour’s schedule.

The Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open will be played at Gullane Golf Club in Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland. Established in 1882, records show that golf has been played on the links at Gullane since 1650. Gullane, using 16 holes from Course No. 1` and 2 holes from Course No. 2, will play at 7,133 yards and to a par of 70. Rafa Cabrera Bello won last year, defeating Callum Shinkwin when he made a birdie on the first playoff hole at Dundonald Links.

The LPGA Tour will be playing the Marathon Classic at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio this week. Highland Meadows will play to a par of 71 and a distance of 6,476 yards. In-Kyung Kim is the defending champion, winning this event last year by four strokes over Lexi Thompson.
